05/27/2017  . People I’ve Loved | Greeting Cards from Oakland

People I’ve Loved is a small studio based out of Oakland, California that specializes in letterpress and handmade objects. We are delighted to welcome their cards to our shop. One of our favorites is the “Museum First Date” card, check them all out below.

They describe themselves as a group of individuals “in search of the miraculous” yet tragic definition of what it means to exist, in this time and space. And feel that we should make time to share it.

We are so excited to bring a curated selection of After 5 Workshop beer cap maps to Cincinnati. Pair an After 5 Workshop beer cap map with a tour of our local breweries for the perfect Father’s Day or birthday gift.   Continue reading

Uncle Goose Blocks

For a moment, all is right in the world when you bite into a perfectly sun-ripened, squishy, organic peach while grinning gleefully at the farmer who grew the dreamy fruit. Picked at just the right time, it smells like July and the thin brown paper bag it was nestled in. Continue reading

MFK Fisher, James Beard, Julia Child, Mark Bittman and Madhur Jaffrey. If you or someone you know lights up or reaches gleefully for the cast iron when you hear any of these names you are in good company with Nourishing Notes. Where the love of preparing and serving good food is as much about the radicchio and baguette as it is the people who gather round your table.

From We Are Brainstorm’s website: Our print work is inspired by science, nature, and the outdoors. We also tackle geography and food when we feel like it. We prefer craft shows over gallery shows and love the mountains more than the city. We love the role of the poster in society and will forever prefer it as our means of creative communication.
