Letterpressed Wedding Stationery Featuring Iconic Roebling Bridge
Katherine + Jonathan's completely custom wedding stationery blends beauty, elegance and playfulness creating something exquisite and entirely unique. The couple fell in love at a bridge design competition in college and wanted their wedding stationery to reflect a shared passion for architectural elements, artful composition as well as a homage to the genius of Cincinnati's Roebling Bridge.
The main wedding invitation features a gold, gate-fold cover where top and bottom mirror each other with laser cut circles resembling falling stars and their reflection on the dark night waters of the Ohio River. Each invitation was wrapped in a charcoal belly band laser cut with the iconic Roebling Bridge. Warm white cotton paper features the couples names gold foiled in a loose, flowing script with the addition of letterpressed art deco inspired fonts - a nod to the architectural details of The Renaissance Hotel where the reception was held.
Clean lines and sharp edges flowed through the suite. Circle die cut response cards and diamond shaped rehearsal dinner enclosures were die cut by Smock Paper and feature the sparkling star design seen on the main invitation.
Everything was tucked into square white envelopes lined with luxe gold mirror paper and were finished with graphic black and white custom postage stamps that repeated the main invitation circle pattern and continued onto the face of the envelope. Paint Jar Productions hand addressed each envelope in gold ink using a romantic cursive calligraphic script.
