Caroline + Amir's Cincinnati Country Club Wedding
Caroline + Amir's Cincinnati Country Club wedding was a dream of floral delights from the romantic bouquets in pastel with hints of rose and tangerine to the cascade of dahlia and greenery along the staircase bannisters.
The travel motif and wooden puzzle escort cards were a nod to Amir's proposal and the weeks that proceeded it. Caroline + Amir's wedding day vision was a reflection of their creative backgrounds brought to life by a team of wonderful vendors. Wedding photography by Kortnee Kate Photography.
How did you and Amir meet? What was your first impression of him? What was his first impression of you?
We met on an interview…he interviewed me for a winter sales role at the Ralph Lauren store in Aspen, Co. I thought he was extremely personable and really easy to talk to. I thought that he had really funny western style- he was wearing a denim snap shirt and jeans and a coral necklace and cowboy boots! Haha, I’ll never let him live that down! But on a serious note from the very beginning I could tell that he was a very kind person and I looked forward to getting to know him better.
Tell us about the proposal.
We were living abroad in Shanghai, China and of course we had discussed a future together or I wouldn’t have moved across the world with him! Over the course of our relationship we went on some pretty amazing trips, but one of our favorite places was Paris it was Amir’s first time to Europe and we had the absolute best time!
So years later…Amir’s mom gave us a puzzle of Paris and we had been working on it in our apartment in Shanghai, but somehow we misplaced one piece so the puzzle remained unfinished for quite some time. One sunny Saturday afternoon Amir and I were sitting on our patio having wine and just enjoying the day but oddly enough I remember thinking in that moment how happy I was to be right there with Amir.
Then the next thing I knew, he told me he found the puzzle piece and I went to put it in the puzzle and that’s when he asked me to spend the rest of my life with him through way too many tears (and I mean A LOT) I managed to say yes and then we had the best night celebrating with our good friends!
What was your initial vision for your wedding?
Amir and I both come from creative backgrounds so it was very important for us to be involved and for the wedding to really feel unique and to share our relationship with our friends and family.

Tell us about finding your dress.
I went to New York with my and sister and our closest family friend and my cousin joined us for our appointments. I ended up finding my dress at Kleinfelds it was one of the last dresses I tried on but as soon as I put it on I knew it was the one it felt just like me!
Describe your wedding day. Is there a particular moment that remains in your memory most vividly?
Amir and I privately exchanged our vows when we did our first look. It was a moment that just the two of us got to share together and exchange the most personal words to one another. It meant so much to both of us to share in that moment and it is something that we will never forget.
What was your favorite detail?
We really put a lot of thought into all of the details! I LOVED how everything came together, the flowers, the puzzle and travel theme every personal touch really came through end the end result was even more than we could have imagined!
What song did you choose for your first dance?
Le Vie en Rose by Louis Armstrong
Where did you spend your honeymoon?
We went to Spain for 2 weeks a wine region, Barcelona, Seville and Madrid. It was so amazing!
