How did you and Clay meet?

We met our first day of high school in English class. We sat pretty close together and often exchanged glances and smiles.

How were your personal styles reflected in your wedding day?

We both really wanted the wedding to be elegant and timeless and I think that was reflected across all of our vendors. From our flowers to the venue and invitations, it was everything we both wanted.

How did you decide on your venue? Why was it the perfect choice?

It was pretty easy to choose a venue. As we met in Mason and drove by the venue quite often, we were familiar with the building and grounds. We explored alternative venues, but knew we would end up at the Manor House. The tour really solidified what we had been thinking.

Describe your wedding day. Is there a particular moment that remains in your memory most vividly?

This may sound cliche, but it was perfect! The memories I will hold onto the most would be seeing all of my friends and family from England come together to celebrate with us. We don't see them very often so this was extremely special. I sat down for a few minutes while everyone was dancing just to take in the moment and all of our guests together. I think the other memory I will hold onto is during the dance with my dad where I had recorded a thank you that was played over the beginning of the song. I think it was a special touch and a different way to thank my dad for everything.

Chloe + Clay were high school friends who married on a beautiful fall day at Cincinnati’s Manor House. Chloe described her wedding day as elegant and timeless. She was gorgeous carrying her white bouquet wearing a beautiful gown with long flowing white veil. Her bridesmaids wore long blue dresses and carried white flowers. Photos by Megan Noll Photography.

What were your favorite details?

It's really hard to choose. I think we had the best group of vendors out there, but the way our photographer and videographer captured the day, has made it impossible to forget and provided memories we will never forget.

Best advice you received on wedding planning?

Just to take it one thing at a time. If you think about everything you have to plan, it can be very overwhelming. But if you break it down into weekly "to-do's" it really helps.

Best thing about being married?

Knowing we will be together forever and we get to really start planning our lives together. Its fun looking over to my husband and seeing his ring and realizing we are actually married. The day goes by so quick, you almost forget.

Where did you honeymoon?

We went to Jamaica, to a Sandals resort. Would highly recommend!
