The soft light of Gina + Scott’s early March wedding added a perfect brilliance to the celebration that started at St. Xavier Church followed by a reception downtown Cincinnati at the Hilton Netherland Plaza Hall of Mirrors.Read More
Erika + Scott's wedding day was a summer dream of joy-filled hearts, dappled sundrops on orchard leaves and an abundance of white roses and peony. Erika's love of all things romantic made Pinecroft at Crosley Estate the perfect venue with its stone walls, elegant grounds and old world charm. Floral walls, hanging lights and twinkling chandeliers added to the resplendent ambiance of the fairy-tale evening. Photography by Veritas Studio.Read More

Best advice you received on wedding planning?
I would say the best advice I received regarding the day, was to take every moment in and enjoy it. I cannot believe how quickly the day went by! As for wedding planning, I planned everything myself (I plan for a living) but couldn't have gotten through the day without the help of my day-of-planner and event coordinator at HPCC.Read More
How were your personal styles reflected in your wedding day?
Daniel and I have very similar personal styles with few differences. We love everything classic, traditional and regal, be it music or architecture or fashion. We chose the Pinecroft Mansion because we wanted to get married at a venue that reflected our style. I chose a very classic ball gown silhouette for my dress and Daniel was very particular about the style of lapel on his tuxedo (he went with a shawl lapel!). We wanted our invitations to be very traditional and Kristen did a beautiful job of reflecting both of our styles in the design.
Also, we set the dress code for our wedding as 'Black Tie' to keep the style and theme alive and even our dog wore a tuxedo. We had a live classical music trio for our ceremony and worked closely with our DJ to pick the songs for the dinner to ensure they reflected our love for Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra, Glenn Miller, Dean Martin (ah, I could go on!).Read More
The reception was at Ault Park! We had such an amazing crew that helped the day come together. I could not believe my eyes when I finally saw our day come to life. It is something else planning a day, and making decisions and you have no clue how it will all come together. Well my vendors were the A team! Everything was perfect.Read More
Tell us a little about you and Nate.
Total dreamboat, i’m beyond obsessed. He’s just so good, I come home with so many issues all the time and all he wants to do is fix them. He’s a fixer and a problem solver and that’s what I love most about him. His latest project has been the early planning and ground work on building us a house for our dogs and future family. He’s also really musically talented; he’s good at the guitar and just got a keyboard for Christmas. Since then he’s been serenading me while I cook dinners and sometimes I just don’t understand how I got so lucky.Read More
How was your personal style reflected in your wedding day?
I have always been all about anything that sparkles and thankfully we found tasteful ways to incorporate that into our day. Our sweetheart table had a sparkle overlay to it and our cake was on a stand that looked like it was covered in diamonds! My dress had a sparkle belt on it and although I wasn’t able to convince the guys to wear any sparkle, my bridesmaids had some sparkle on their dresses.Read More
Ellie + Jay were married on a perfect summer day in July at Saint Rose Church in Cincinnati's East End. The reception followed at Greenacres Art Center, one of our city's most beautiful and historic estates. Tall trees pepper the lawns of Greenacres shading the buildings, walkways, and many carefully planted garden beds.Read More
Kate + Nick looked no further than their new hometown of Santa Monica, California with its incredible natural beauty as their wedding destination. Bridesmaids were gorgeous in their mix and match blush dresses carrying airy bouquets in blush, cream, and white florals. Flower girls wore baby’s breath floral crowns and looked like little flower fairies flanking the wedding ceremony arch. One of our favorite details was Kate’s incorporation of her love of blue and white pottery into the wedding reception place settings.Read More
Josie + Patrick's wedding day was both a celebration of love and a reflection of both of their personalities and styles. The couple added a bit of themselves into traditional and contemporary wedding elements. Josie was lovely in her layered gown and wore Patrick's mother's veil as a special tribute. We love the navy and wine palette for the bridal party which made for gorgeous bouquets of rose and eucalyptus. Burning Chair Photography captured the day.Read More
How did you decide on your venue? Why was it the perfect choice?
We both love to have a good time, be with friends, and we are very family-oriented. A big wedding was a necessity with our large number of friends and family that we wanted to attend. Drees allowed us to have the big wedding of our dreams. Not to mention the amazing view of the city we both call home!
Mount St. Joseph University is where I got my degree in nursing. But it also was very special to the both of us because that is where Matthew’s parents got married.Read More
We always ask our couples how their styles were reflected throughout their wedding day. For Anna + Kenny an interfaith wedding ceremony at The Mercantile Library, one of Cincinnati's historic treasures, followed by a Rhinegeist Brewery reception could not have been more fitting.Read More
How were your personal styles reflected in your wedding day?
We both really wanted the wedding to be elegant and timeless and I think that was reflected across all of our vendors. From our flowers to the venue and invitations, it was everything we both wanted.Read More

Ashley & Brennan’s summer wedding day was a beautiful mix of gold, pink and soft blush. Katie and Paul's wedding was an elegant and simple celebration at the historic Glendale Lyceum, a venue often described as one of Cincinnati's "hidden gems". Katie loves the color blue which was tied into the florals, stationery, and reception decor seamlessly. We love the lush floral ceremony arch which was brilliant in the sunny room where the ceremony took place. The day was captured by Leppert Photography.Read More
