Olivia & Cameron's Pinecroft Mansion Wedding

Planning a beautiful spring wedding at the historic Pinecroft Mansion for Olivia and Cameron was a family affair, and we loved the collaboration. After a brief phone introduction, the planning began with an in-studio design appointment with the bride, mom, and DAD!

Elegant Garden Wedding at Pinecroft Mansion

Emily + Kenny celebrated on a beautiful late summer day at Cincinnati’s historic Pinecroft at Crosley Estate. Their wedding invitation features gold foil accents on natural cotton paper with a delicate hairline border. Each invitation was wrapped in a translucent vellum printed with a soft marble design and finished with a rose wax seal. The monogrammed seal was also included on the dinner menus in silver, gold, and rose to indicate menu choices. Invitation and enclosure cards were tucked into a soft blue envelope and an outer formal ivory envelope completed the ensemble.

How would you describe the style of your wedding?

Oh how to describe a wedding you planned before and during a pandemic… Ok: our original thought was an Art Deco theme because we were planning on getting married at the Powell Crosley Estate which was built in the Art Deco style. So our “style” was mid 1920-1930s Art Deco/Great Gatsby-like black tie event. This style remained but the pandemic changed pretty much everything else.

I love monograms and the idea of "branding" your wedding. I think having a logo or a key image incorporated into different elements really helps tie things together. I wanted my guests to know I had worked really hard to pull everything together and incorporating our "bee" into so many of the pieces of our wedding helped convey that nothing was there by chance.

Molly + Ted’s Pinecroft at Crosley Estate Wedding Celebration

I tried my best to make sure that when people attended my wedding, they immediately said to themselves, “Yeah. Molly totally planned this!” Everything from the colors, blush pink and gold, to the floral centerpieces, first dance choice (Beauty and the Beast because I’m a Disney FANATIC) and quirky escort cards (we had gold animals attached to each) screamed Molly!

Aziza + Daniel's Pinecroft Wedding Celebration

How were your personal styles reflected in your wedding day?

Daniel and I have very similar personal styles with few differences. We love everything classic, traditional and regal, be it music or architecture or fashion. We chose the Pinecroft Mansion because we wanted to get married at a venue that reflected our style. I chose a very classic ball gown silhouette for my dress and Daniel was very particular about the style of lapel on his tuxedo (he went with a shawl lapel!). We wanted our invitations to be very traditional and Kristen did a beautiful job of reflecting both of our styles in the design.
